You can donate online through Sqaure here. Or you can stop in with a check (or cash) or mail it to the Library. If you would like to be recognized for your donation, please provide your contact information. Inquire with our staff about making a donation in honor or memory of a loved one.

Donating Material Items:
About
The Community Library of DeWitt & Jamesville appreciates your donations of new or gently
used materials. While items may be added to the collection if they satisfy our Collection
Development Policy criteria, most donations are sorted and placed in the Library’s Book Sale to
support Library services and programs. Please view our Materials Donation Policy for details on
what can be donated and how to donate items. Please view the Donation Policy Visual Guide for a quick introduction to the condition and types of books we can accept.
Please note: Books, CDs, DVD/Blu-Ray/4K & Video Game donations are being accepted.
The Library is currently accepting only 1 bag or 1 box of book or media donations per household per week. For more info or inquiries, e-mail Brian at: babbott@CLDandJ.org. All donations must be brought into the Library to a staff member, please do not leave
donations outside or in the bookdrops.

Your donation to the Library is Tax-Deductible. The Library is classified as a 501c (3) Non- Profit organization and charitable giving to the Library can be deducted from your taxes. When you make a monetary donation to us, keep a record for completing your taxes. If you need a receipt for your records please let us know and we would be happy to provide one.
Item Donation Forms Available by Request
Upon request, the Library will provide you with an Item Donation Form detailing your material donations. Due to Internal Revenue Service regulations, the Library is prohibited from estimating the value of donation items.

About
Are you interested in donating your time? The Community Library of DeWitt & Jamesville is
looking for adult & teen volunteers, 16-years-old or older, who are depend-able, detail-oriented,
able to work independently, and able to work at least 4 hours a week. Volunteers assist the
Library with varying tasks that help our organization meet our community’s needs.
Volunteer applications are available at the Library and below. Applications may be dropped off
at the Library's Information Desk or may be emailed to: reference@cldandj.org. Please include
Teen or Adult Volunteer Application in the subject line.
